Office 365 Workshops – Who is this engagement for?

Organisations about to roll out Office 365 who want to give their people an overall understanding as to how they can apply the new platform in their day to day work.  Adopt & Embrace onsite Office 365 Workshops are suitable for up to ~50 participants per day

 

What will we cover?

Our Office 365 Workshops session can be tailored to your specific requirements, considering your unique licensing and configuration of Office 365.  For example…

  • What is Office 365… what’s in it for me?
  • Working with files saved in the cloud
    • Introduction to OneDrive
    • Introduction to SharePoint
  • Office 2016
    • How does Word, Excel PowerPoint etc work with Office 365
    • Creating and saving documents in Word & Excel
    • Sharing documents with others
    • Accessing documents on mobile devices or at home
  • Introduction to Skype for Business
  • Introduction to OneNote

What is included?

  • 1 x planning call (up to 30 minutes via Skype for Business Video or phone call) prior to attending site to tailor delivery to specific goals of your organisation or location and confirm logistics
  • 1 x Adopt & Embrace Adoption Specialist on site in one metropolitan area from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM each day
    • Metropolitan areas = within 75 km of the central post office of Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland or Wellington.
    • If you require training across multiple metropolitan areas, add each as a separate line item in your cart
  • 4 x 75-minute training workshops (repeating the same content)
    • 9:30am -10:45am
    • 11:00am -12:15pm
    • 1:00pm – 2:15pm
    • 2:30pm – 3:45pm
  • 1 x 30-minute Drop-in Q&A session
    • 4:00pm – 4:30pm
  • Tracking of attendance
    • Via printed ‘sign in sheet’ 
  • Tracking of session feedback via an electronic survey
    • URL provided to participants at the end of the session

What is not included?

  • Handouts or other printed material
  • Any projection or display equipment
  • Any demonstration laptops or other devices
  • Any travel-related costs for delivery outside of the Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland or Wellington metropolitan areas.  Any travel costs inured outside of these areas will be passed on to you at cost

 

What do we need from you?

  • A contact for each site where workshops are planned to be delivered
  • A comfortable room to deliver training in at each location
  • Access to power for the Adoption Specialist’s laptop
  • Access to HDMI or VGA connection to a projector (or display) for Adoption Specialist’s laptop
  • Guest wireless access with an internet connection
  • For sessions tailored to customer specific devices
    • access to devices at least 2 business days prior to the session
  • For ‘hands-on’ training
    • [already in production] participants bring their own work device to the session
    • [not in production] customer provision lab environment including training laptops
  • At least 5 days notice when booking, subject to availability

 

 

Cancellations / Change of dates

As a small business, we try to be as flexible as we can be to accommodate our customers.  That being said, last minute cancellations and changes to confirmed bookings in our schedule can have a significant impact on our business.  Although cancellations are very rare, date changes do happen from time to time.  We want to make sure you know our policy ahead of time (just in case)

  • Cancellations with at least 30 days notice
    • Cancellation Fee: None
    • Any fees paid will be 100% refunded via the payment method you used, minus any unrecoverable travel bookings or other ancillary costs incurred as part of preparing for delivery

 

  • Cancellations with between 30-15 days notice
    • Cancellation Fee:  We will charge you up to 30% of the total booking + any unrecoverable travel bookings or other ancillary costs incurred as part of preparing for delivery
    • This will be taken from any fees that may have already been paid, the remainder will be invoiced to you

 

  • Cancellations with 14 days notice or less
    • Cancellation Fee:  We will charge you up to 50% of the total booking + any unrecoverable travel bookings or other ancillary costs incurred as part of preparing for delivery
    • This will be taken from any fees that may have already been paid, the remainder will be invoiced to you

 

  • Date changes with at least 14 days notice
    • Change of date Fee:  None (subject to availability of new dates)
    • Note that changes to travel bookings may incur additional charges.  These charges will be passed on to you

 

  • Date changes with 14 days notice or less
    • Change of date Fee:  We will charge you up to 30% of the total booking (subject to availability of new dates)
    • Note that changes to travel bookings may incur additional charges.  These charges will be passed on to you
