Our Yammer maturity assessment provides you with the guidance and improvement steps to take over 30-60-90. This will improve user adoption and ultimately unlock real business value from the platform.

Yammer Maturity Assessment – Who is this engagement for?

The Yammer Maturity Assessment is designed to help organisations who wish to explore their current goals and usage of Yammer within the organisation to improve user adoption and increase the value they are receiving from their enterprise social network and communities.

We will achieve this through:

  • discussions with key stakeholders within the Internal Communications Team
  • observation of activities within the Yammer Network
  • 1:1 interviews with a sample of (up to 12) stakeholders identified across the business
  • assessing areas with 12 specific measures
  • an on-site assessment over 5 days

What will we cover?

We will focus on identifying and collating information that will provide a very clear understanding of yammer usage in the organisation. We will seek to provide you with an understanding of areas that require improvement along with guidance and next step suggestions for improvement.  This will include, but is not limited to:

  • Your vision for your Yammer Maturity adoption within the business
  • An Adopt & Embrace Adoption specialist working with you over a 2-3 week period
  • Assessing your current state of Yammer across 12 measures
  • Providing maturity scores ranging between 1-5 across those measures
  • Providing commentary as to what is currently occurring within your yammer community
  • Providing commentary as to what needs to occur to improve the maturity within your yammer maturity
  • Documenting the information and findings of the Yammer maturity assessment.
  • Providing a clear 30-60-90 day view of next steps and recommendations.
  • A 1-hour discussion and Q&A of the outcomes within the internal communications team

What is included?

  • 1 x kick-off call (up to 60 minutes via Skype for Business Video, Microsoft Teams Video, or phone call) prior to attending site to confirm logistics and focus on the strategy and overall goals of the Yammer community. This call will take place with the engagement’s Executive Sponsor and stakeholders (Internal Communications Team)
  • 1 x Adopt & Embrace Senior Adoption Specialist or Adoption Consultant on site up to 5 days. 
  • Network Discovery (up to 12-16 hours)  Review of publicly facing Yammer groups across the current network
  • Check in with Internal Communications team (~1 hour) –
    • Provide initial feedback based on observations made in the Yammer network.
    • Provide a suggested list of Yammer community participants to engage with for 1:1 interviews for review.
    • The Identification of up to 3 non-Yammer participants to determine reasons against engaging in the network
      (Internal Communications team to facilitate booking the 1:1 conversations)
  • 1: 1 Interviews  (30-45 minutes each – in person or via Skype for Business/Teams video call) In preparation for our yammer maturity assessment documentation and suggestions, our team will
    • conduct up to 12 x 1:1 interviews across 2 contiguous days.
    • Hold a discussion with identified study participants to understand rich stories as to how and why (or why not) they engage in the Yammer Community.
  • [Optional] Survey of Yammer Community – Depending on richness/quality of information from 1:1 interviews, an additional data collection activity in the form of a Survey may be used to increase the quality and reliability of the input into the assessment.
  • Prepare and Present Maturity Assessment document (~7 hours prep, 1-hour discussion)  we will:
    • Document the outcomes of the Maturity Assessment
    • Deliver a 60-minute walk through and discussion of the results of the assessment (and next steps)
    • DELIVERABLE 1: Yammer Maturity Assessment ]
  • Consideration of all our stakeholdeCertified B Corporationrs
    (as a Certified B Corporation we think this is really important)

    • Community – 1% of your investment in this engagement will be donated to Batyr, a for-purpose organisation that focuses on preventative education in the area of youth mental health
    • Environment – carbon emissions from travel required to deliver this engagement will be offset by GreenFleet

What is not included?

  • Community Management or other Yammer activities to drive adoption. The engagement is purely observational – no posts will be made into the Yammer community
  • Handouts or other printed material
  • Any projection or display equipment
  • Any demonstration headsets, laptops or other devices to illustrate use cases
  • Any travel-related costs for delivery of the adoption planning workshop.  Costs for our Adoption team members to attend site will be passed on to you at cost.

What do we need from you?

  • A contact to engage with to help facilitate logistics of the yammer maturity assessment
  • Access to power for the Adoption Specialist’s laptop
  • Credentials to access the yammer and organisations environment
  • Guest wireless access with an internet connection
  • Access to any existing project documentation (can be subject to NDA if required)
  • Access to your Executive Sponsor if there is one for your project (if available)
  • At least 5 days notice when booking, subject to availability

 

 

 

Cancellations / Change of dates

As a small business, we try to be as flexible as we can be to accommodate our customers.  That being said, last minute cancellations and changes to confirmed bookings in our schedule can have a significant impact on our business.  Although cancellations are very rare, date changes do happen from time to time.  We want to make sure you know our policy ahead of time (just in case)

  • Cancellations with at least 30 days notice
    • Cancellation Fee: None
    • Any fees paid will be 100% refunded via the payment method you used, minus any unrecoverable travel bookings or other ancillary costs incurred as part of preparing for delivery

 

  • Cancellations with between 30-15 days notice
    • Cancellation Fee:  We will charge you up to 30% of the total booking + any unrecoverable travel bookings or other ancillary costs incurred as part of preparing for delivery
    • This will be taken from any fees that may have already been paid, the remainder will be invoiced to you

 

  • Cancellations with 14 days notice or less
    • Cancellation Fee:  We will charge you up to 50% of the total booking + any unrecoverable travel bookings or other ancillary costs incurred as part of preparing for delivery
    • This will be taken from any fees that may have already been paid, the remainder will be invoiced to you

 

  • Date changes with at least 14 days notice
    • Change of date Fee:  None (subject to availability of new dates)
    • Note that changes to travel bookings may incur additional charges.  These charges will be passed on to you

 

  • Date changes with 14 days notice or less
    • Change of date Fee:  We will charge you up to 30% of the total booking (subject to availability of new dates)
    • Note that changes to travel bookings may incur additional charges.  These charges will be passed on to you
